CRJは現在札幌、福岡、東京、関西を含む全国4ヶ所を拠点に活動するカレッジチャートであり、学生中心で進められる音楽の情報発信は、他の音楽チャートとは違った視点から見た選曲であるのが特徴だ。また、各地のランキングの特色が顕著に現れるのも一つの魅力である。
今後、活動拠点の拡大も検討中である。

【The Whoops】
The Whoopsは埼玉県北浦和発の3ピースバンド。
ギターボーカル宮田の第一子誕生により、バンドは3月に活動休止を発表。ネガティブな活動休止ではなく、育児をしながら活動再開を準備するという前向きな発表だった。
3月発売のミニアルバム『TAPES or DIE』から『夕暮れ』がチャートイン。疾走感のあるグッドメロディに美しい歌詞が、いままでの出会いと別れを思いださせる。
このアルバムを聴いて、活動が再開されるのを楽しみに待っている。そしてベース森のダンス、ドラム須長の無言のゲーム配信にも注目していきたい。

【BROTHER SUN SISTER MOON】
大阪を拠点に活動するバンド BROTHER SUN SISTER MOON は、2017 年に結成し恵 翔兵(Gt&Vo)、岡田 優佑(Dr)、恵 愛由(Ba&Vo)からなるインディペンデントポップバンド。 デビュー前から大型イベントに出演するなど話題と集め、2020 年 7 月に 1st EP 『Some Same Soul』、今年 4 月には 2nd EP 『Homesick』をデジタルリリースした。 兄妹である二人のリードボーカルを持つこのバンドは、浮遊感のあるサウンドと溶け込むような英詞が彼らの個性を形成している。既に多くの注目を受けており、そのリスナーは国内にとどまらず海外にも多くいることは事実である。

全編英語のこの曲は現在YOUTUBEのみで配信中。
幸せでないからという理由で現実逃避をしている子を表現している一曲。
ただ現実逃避しているわけではなくて、自分が平凡だと気づいた絶望の気持ちに対して、それを認めたうえで逆ギレしている、そんな歌詞が面白い一曲。
メロディーのどんよりとしたベース中に、心情が伝わってくる気がする。

【Homecomings】
2012年に結成された4ピースバンド。
これまで数々のライブや国内フェス、海外ツアーにも出演し、心を落ち着かせるサウンドと歌声に暖かい背景が目に浮かんでくるような歌詞が合わさり人々を魅了してきた。
ライブ活動だけではなくアルバムリリースや映画と音楽のイベント「New Neighbors」を2017年からスタートさせたり映画の主題歌を担当するなどマルチに活動している。
2021年5月12日にIRORI Recordsよりメジャーデビューを果たした。

【The Whoops】
The Whoops is a 3 piece band from Kita Urawa, Saitama.
Due to the birth of guitarist Miyata’s first child, the band announced a hiatus in March. It was not a negative announcement, but a positive one as the band prepared to resume their activities while taking care of their child.
Yugure” from the mini-album “TAPES or DIE” released in March entered the chart. The fast-paced good melody and beautiful lyrics reminded me of the encounters and farewells we have had.
After listening to this album, I’m looking forward to their resumption of activities. I also want to keep an eye on bassist Mori’s dancing and drummer Sunaga’s silent game delivery.

【BROTHER SUN SISTER MOON】
BROTHER SUN SISTER MOON is an independent pop band formed in 2017 in Osaka. Even before debut, they are featured in a big event and became a hot topic. In July 2020, they released 1st EP “Some Same Soul” and launched 2nd EP “Homesick” digitally this April. The band has two lead vocals (They are siblings) and their floating sounds and melt-in-your mouth English words make their originality.
It has already received a lot of attention, and it is true that many of its listeners are not only in Japan but also abroad.

A 4-piece band formed in 2012.
He has appeared in numerous live concerts, domestic festivals, and overseas tours, and has fascinated people with his calming sounds and singing voices combined with lyrics that bring a warm background to his eyes.
