A five-member band that started full-fledged activities in 2018. In the last year, they have been selected for major newcomer awards such as Tawa rekomen and Eichioshi, and have been invited to SXSW in Austin, USA, and the Next Music From Tokyo Tour in Canada.
Their song “Scooter,” released on February 17, reached number one on Sapporo’s March 18 chart.
The song is a fusion of their roots of 90’s alternative and Japanese rock, giving the listener an idyllic and floating feeling.

【Xiexie】

Xiexie is an acid folk band formed in 2020 by Koda (Vo / Gt, NY & BICYCLES), and
Hida (Dr, all about paradise), Meari (Vo / Gt) and Kai (Ba). The band’s name comes
from the fact that Vo. Meari, originally from Fukuoka, has had contact with Shanghai
and Taiwan for some time.
“da da” is now on the CRJA FUKUOKA`s chart. This is the first song from 1st minialbum “XIEXIE” in 2021. The repeating title phrases and the dreamy sound are
delightful but sentimental. Itʼs so good song.
MV is produced by an up-and-coming filmmaker, Yuka Yamaguchi. You can enjoy its
retro and humorous videos, so please check this out as well.

【For Tracy Hyde】

After repeated member changes, it will be the current band formation in 2019.
While focusing on shoegaze / dream pop, it incorporates various music from the 1960s to the present with free ideas, and colors the daily lives of a wide range of listeners from junior high and high school students to those in their 40s and 50s who touched in real time. Create the accompanying “21st Century Teenage Symphony for God”. In addition to being active in the domestic indie scene, he also acted as the opening act for Hazel English (Australia / US) and The Embassy (Sweden), as well as Sobs (Singapore), Cosmic Child (Singapore), Organized a tour of Thud (Hong Kong) to Japan.
