CRJは現在札幌、福岡、東京、関西を含む全国4ヶ所を拠点に活動するカレッジチャートであり、学生中心で進められる音楽の情報発信は、他の音楽チャートとは違った視点から見た選曲であるのが特徴だ。また、各地のランキングの特色が顕著に現れるのも一つの魅力である。
今年の4月には、CRJ関西支部が発足。今後、活動拠点の拡大も検討中である。

【HOTEL DONUTS】
HOTEL DONUTSは、TOSHIKI HAYASHI(%C)、maco maretsらを中心とした“フィールグッド・コレクティブ”。その始動作『コンビニエンスボーイ / インソムニアガール』は、昨年の札幌/福岡それぞれのチャートで上位にランクインした。今回は、6月26日リリースの『さよなら未来 feat. mabanua』が8月13日付の札幌チャートで2位を獲得。origami PRODUCTIONSのプロジェクト『origami Home Sessions』より、mabanuaの楽曲を基に、塩入冬湖（FINLANDS）、山田大介、ryutaro murataが制作した。「距離と愛」をテーマに、寂しさと温かさが同居する一曲になっている。

インディロック、オルタナティブ、アンビエントなど様々な音楽に影響を受けた音楽を制作している。
新型コロナウイルス感染拡大の影響により、音楽活動の場所や機会が奪われているアーティストへの生活支援を目的として立ち上げられた「100byKSR」から『she’s in dream』をリリース。
ある男女のストーリーから生まれたという今作は、心地良い音楽と少し胸が苦しくなるような声がたまらない楽曲になっている。

今回のピックアップアーティストは福岡出身の若きサウンドクリエイター西村匠によるソロユニット「the perfect me」様々なジャンルをバランスよく掛け合わせた楽曲は早耳な音楽リスナーから高い評価を受けている。
今回チャートインした”It is modern and style of love”は今月5日にリリースされたソロ体制移行後初のフルアルバムに収録されている楽曲だ。
どこか醒めた声で歌われる奇跡を望むような歌詞とミニマルに仕上げられた楽器隊のバランスのとれた、アルバムの中でも特に落ち着いた雰囲気の楽曲である。

“HOTEL DONUTS” is a “feel good collective” centered upon “TOSHIKI HAYASHI(%C)” and “maco marets”. Their fast song “convenience boy/ insomnia girl” was ranked in both Sapporo and Fukuoka chart last year. Moreover, “Sayonara Mirai(See you my future)feat. mabanua” has got the second place in Sapporo chart on August 13th . This song was created by Shioiri Fuyuko(FINLANDS), Taisuke Yamada and Ryutaro Murata, based on mabanua’s song from “origami Home Sessions”, the project of “origami Productions”. Theme of this song, “distanve and love” makes it combine loneliness and warmth.
