Wooly magazineが誌面として書店で販売を始め、今号で3冊目となるWooly vol.24。バイリンガルアートマガジンとして、新進気鋭のアーティストやデザイナーのみならず、各アートシーンにおけるキーパーソンとタッグを組み、盛りだくさんのラインナップに仕上がりました！
今号のテーマは” Generations” 。次世代アーティストに焦点を置き、次々と移り変わる”世代” と共に進化して行く多彩なスーパールーキーを取り上げています。
今回表紙を撮り下ろしたのはDazed Digitalなど多くのメディアから注目を集めるOphelie Rondeau。日本とドイツの血を引きセントラルセントマーチンズで芸術評論を学ぶ傍ら、自身もアーティスト活動を続ける点子さんがモデルとして登場。ロンドンライフを送る3人のモデルたちが身にまとったおばあちゃんのお古は、“Generations”というテーマを際立たせ華を添えます。
そして今号は、アート、音楽、建築、コラージュなど多岐にわたる分野に目を向け、現代アートの現在地を探ります。建築家、永山裕子氏と坂牛卓氏をお招きした対談では、”リノベーション”をキーワードに若手建築家をとりまく環境に着目します。
ファッションシーンからは、装苑のモデルを務め現在人気沸騰中の長井短をVogueやCake Magazieなどのアーティな海外誌で活躍する杉田拓氏が、8頁にわたるファッションフォトストーリーを撮り下ろしました。彼女の世界観に強く惹きつけられます。写真家永瀬沙世による連載や、その他豪華アーティストによるエディトリアルの数々は見所満載です。
7月９日（土）より福岡TAG STÅ、代官山蔦屋書店、博多HMV、渋谷HMV&BOOKSにてWooly vol.24号が先行販売されます。
7月15日より、全国一斉発売がスタート！

The latest addition of bilingual culture magazine vol.24 Generations will be published at Fukuoka TAG STA and Daikanyama Tsutaya from 9th of July.
Vol.24 will be published as our 3rd edition sold in store. For every publication, we receive respectable notices due to our versatile contents by tagging with key person in every field of art, together with young and vibrant artists.
The theme of this publication is “Generations”. We have focused on next generation artists, by picking out constantly evolving “Generations” of multicolored super rookies.
Using model Tenko, who is photographer Hanayo’s daughter studying Art Critics in Central Saint Martens, photographer Ophelle Rondeau, who is in attention by various medias including Dazed Digital, took the cover photo of this issue in London. The models who are wearing grandma’s used clothes adds the grace to the theme “Generations”.
The special of feature of vol.24 issue will be “New Generation”. In this feature, we turned our eyes on fields of Art, Music, Architecture and Collage to explore the current state of these art fields in Japan. For the field of architecture, we were able to invite a young architect Nagayama Yuuko, and an architect Taku Sakaushi to have an conversation about “Renovation” as a key word to take notice of the current young architect’s surroundings.
From the fashion scene, Taku Sugita who has worked for Vogue, the long standing magazines, to Cake Magazine, an oversea arty magazine have taken the photo. We have used Mijika Nagai as the model, who is very popular in the magazine Souen, and became the subject of conversation being called as the second Rui Kurihara. Also being popular as a blogger, she had her attempt as a writer, creating her original text for this issue. Her view of the world will strongly intrigue you. Other serial publication with gorgeous guests is also provided.
From 9th of July, Wooly vol.24 will be on sale ahead in Fukuoka TAG STA and Daikanyama Tsutaya. In Fukuoka TAG STA, for customers who buy Wooly vol.24 in advance will have the privilege of having other cuts taken by Ophelie Rondeau in post card size. It will surely create eagerness in using it as part of your room decoration.
Furthermore, we will be holding our vol.24 release party on 16th of July (SAT) from 18:00~22:00 at our warehouse, at the same time as the closing party of the photo exhibition “Magic Moment”.
