From PORTLAND, the First Challenge Overseas

The mastermind of the Portland boom, Alex’s last dream was to open Ace Hotel overseas and this dream became true last autumn. In the East London district of Shoreditch, lies the most creatively engaged district of London, with the newest galleries, cafes and boutiques and this very place is where the hotel opened.

If I were to bring up three features of the hotel, it would be the collaborations within the district, the new encounters waiting at the lobby, events and cafes, and how much time and work has been used for the design and graphics.
