BADBADNOTGOODのキーボードのマシュー・タヴァレス、ベースのチェスター・ハンセン、そしてドラムのアレックス・ソウィンスキーはカナダ、トロントのカレッジのミュージック・パフォーマンスプログラムで出会い、即興を得意とした独自スタイルを貫くバンドとして2011年にキャリアをスタートした。若者に人気なヒップホップにジャズテイストを取り入れるスタイルはクラシックとモダンが融合したサウンドを生み出す。タイラー・ザ・クリエイターやフランク・オーシャンが属するオッド・フューチャー・クルーの楽曲をカバーしたミックステープ「The Odd Future Sessions」がタイラー・ザ・クリエイター自身により評価され、タイラーとのスタジオセッションも行われた。他のアーティストから既に定評の高い彼らは音楽のジャンルを超え今、多くの音楽ファンを魅了している。
そんな彼らが今月６月に来日し、単独公演が大阪と東京で行われる。日本で初めて単独公演を行う彼らのライブをお見逃しなく！

BADBADNOTGOOD is a band conducted of keyboard:Matthew Tavares, bass:Chester Hansen and drum:Alexander Sowinski which started in 2011. They met at a music performance program at college in Toronto, Canada and from then on have worked as a band that is specializes in improvisation. Their music is a combination of hip hop and jazz and a hint of classic modern music. Their mix-tape “The Odd Future Sessions” including cover songs of Tyler, the Creator and Frank Ocean has been highly valued by Tyler, the Creator himself and they have even done a studio session together before. From other artists too, their music has been highly assessed and their music is sure to continue fascinating many music fans.
Their concert in Japan in June will be held in Osaka and Tokyo so make sure you’re there!
