NEW LANGUAGE, NEW COMMUNICATION.ポップアートとタイポグラフィの交差、画家田代敏朗が生み出す新言語。

画家田代敏朗(たしろとしあき)による巡回展『 NEW LANGUAGE, NEW COMMUNICATION. 』を3月5日(土)より東京代官山AL、3月30日(水)より大阪 digmeout ART & DINERにて開催致します。
本展示は、田代敏朗が作品として生み出したアルファベット26 文字を使用し、様々な言葉、文章を組み上げたポスター作品として展示販売いたします。

デザイナーの厳格な “タイポグラフィ” の世界で、田代は画家として自由に筆を走らせる。独特の色彩とパターンによる表現により、独自の世界観を表現し続けてきた田代敏朗は、線引きされていたそれぞれの “境界” を軽々と飛び越える。そうして生まれた “26個の作品” が書体として組み上げられ、言葉としての意味を得、また、新しい作品として誕生する。ポップアートとタイポグラフィの交差、画家田代敏朗が生む「新言語」をお楽しみください。

田代敏朗
1980 佐賀県生まれ。佐賀県展洋画の部において史上最年少 16 歳で首席 ( 県知事賞、山口亮一賞) 受賞を皮切りに、数々のアワードにおいて受賞。上野の森美術館大賞展(2010)、トーキョーワンダーウォール(2011)、トーキョーワンダーシード (2012)。主な展示に六本木ヒルズ森アーツセンター「Artist by artist」(2003)、京都建仁寺「現世美術館展」(2006, 2008) 等。2014 年秋ひよ子新ブランドでのコラボレーションに抜擢、注目を浴びる。2015 年個展「herald」にて、自由が丘「ブルーブックスカフェ」、博多「ブルックリンパーラー」同時開催。WOOLY ARTS 所属。

Traveling exhibition by the artist Toshiaki Tashiro.The exhibition 『 NEW LANGUAGE, NEW COMMUNICATION. 』will be held at “Tokyo Daikanyama AL” from 5th of March(sat) & “Osaka digmeout ART & DINER” from 30th of March.
In this exhibition, Toshiaki Tashiro created 26 characters of alphabet design as his work, and it will be on sale as a poster work which contains various words with the alphabet.

Tashiro draws freely in the world of typography which is said to be strict field for designers.He shapes own vision of the world by his unique colors and pattern. Each “26 characters work” built as a font, and gain meaning as an language, and then born as a new creation.Please enjoy the collaboration of Pop Art and Typography, the New Language created by Toshiaki Tashiro.

TOSHIAKI TASHIRO
Born 1980 in Saga Prefecture. Currently Living in Tokyo. For hi s part in the Saga prefecture exhibition film, hereceived top prize in the Governors award as well as the Ryoichi Yamaguchi award, followed by many more. UenoRoyal Museum Grand Prize Exhibition (2010), Tokyo Wonder Wall (2011), Tokyo Wonder Seed (2012). The mainRoppongi Hills Mori Arts Center in the exhibition “Artist by ar tist” (2003), Kenninji Kyoto “This World MuseumExhibition” (2006, 2008), and more. Most recently he collaborated with Hiyoko Sweets for the design of their new fall products. Managed by Wooly Arts.
