CRJは現在札幌、福岡、東京、関西を含む全国4ヶ所を拠点に活動するカレッジチャートであり、学生中心で進められる音楽の情報発信は、他の音楽チャートとは違った視点から見た選曲であるのが特徴だ。また、各地のランキングの特色が顕著に現れるのも一つの魅力である。
今年の4月には、CRJ関西支部が発足。今後、活動拠点の拡大も検討中である。

ぷにぷに電機は、インターネットを中心に活動するシンガーソングライター兼プロデュサー。Shin Sakiuraをサウンドプロデュースに迎え配信リリースしたシングル『empties』が、9月10日付の札幌チャートで6位にランクインした。“真夏の夜の嫉妬と妄想”をテーマに、ぷにぷに電機自身が作詞・作曲を行なったこの一曲。残暑が続くこの季節、曲の世界観を味わいながらじっくり浸ってほしい。

“Nostola” is a solo unit by Kumamoto-based Toranosuke Tsuruta.
It is characterized by its lo-fi, off-kilter sound and Japanese lyrics.
His songs are peppered with the sounds of everyday life that match the titles and lyrics of his songs, always with a sense of fun.
The song “Shiranai Michi,” which also charted on CRJA FUKUOKA, has a rough sound and is a great song to listen to while taking a walk.
The latest single “Natsu no Kuni / Tengoku” was released on August 15th on bandcamp.

Multi-player Kohei Ando has been participating in the work and live shows of artists of various genres such as King Gnu, Kenji Yonezu, Kirinji, and WONK, and has been a link between the scenes.

This week’s pick up artist is “kurenazumu”, who has been number one for two weeks in a row.
Although they have becoming a familiar artist on CRJ, they have been used for the August weather corner monthly song in “Tokudane!”and also picked J-WAVE SONAR TRAX, and CROSS FM RECOMMEND TRACKS.
