CRJは現在札幌、福岡、東京、関西を含む全国4ヶ所を拠点に活動するカレッジチャートであり、学生中心で進められる音楽の情報発信は、他の音楽チャートとは違った視点から見た選曲であるのが特徴だ。また、各地のランキングの特色が顕著に現れるのも一つの魅力である。
今年の4月には、CRJ関西支部が発足。今後、活動拠点の拡大も検討中である。

天国旅行
天国旅行は、札幌を拠点に活動するロックバンド。配信限定でリリースした初作『檸檬-EP』からちょうど一年を経た今年4月、『平窓-EP』を発売した。その中から『フェイクファー』が5月21日付のカレッジチャートで1位を獲得。
フィジカルを伴うリリースは今回が初となり、アートワークはメンバーと同じく札幌出身のヒラノタカヒロが担当している。
丁寧に紡がれる詩が、今の季節の陽射しのように心地よいギターに乗る。彼らの音楽には、世代や場所を越えて届く普遍的な美しさがある。

福岡県の北九州小倉を拠点に活動する3ピースインディーロックバンド『the bellrins』。
ブラックミュージックやUSインディーから影響を受けており、
軽快なリズミカルさで、ウキウキとするポップなメロディは自然と体も心も揺らしてくれる。
安定した優しいベースボーカルと遊び心のあるギター、ポップさを際立たせてくれるドラムが特徴である。
チャートインしている『Slow Night』も心躍る3人の合奏に注目してほしい。
レーベル名を間違えて申請してしまったようで、ボーカルの名前がレーベル名になっているところも

österreichは高橋國光(ex. the cabs)によるソロプロジェクト。2015年にアニメ東京喰種類(トーキョーグール)のOPに抜擢され、昨年10月にはTK from凛として時雨のゲストアクトとして初のライブを行い本格的に活動を開始した。
今回チャートにランクインした「映画」は過去に公開されていた楽曲で、先月配信された音源では、他のアーティストを迎えてバンドサウンドに生まれ変わっており、既存の作品よりも親しみやすさを感じる1曲に仕上がっている。
この楽曲では鎌野愛がヴォーカルを担当しており、複雑に絡み合うバンドサウンドに、澄んだ歌声が溶け混んでいる。österreich特有の退廃的で散文的な歌詞も魅力の1つだ。YouTubeでライブ映像が限定公開(今月末まで)されており、そちらもぜひチェックして欲しい。

Heaven’s Travel
Heaven’s Travel is a rock band based in Sapporo, Japan. The first “LEMON-EP” was released one year after the “LEMON-EP” was released as a limited distribution. Of these, “Faux Fur” reached No. 1 on the May 21 college chart.
This is the first release with physicality, and the artwork is by Takahiro Hirano, who is also from Sapporo.
A carefully spun poem rides on the guitar like the sunshine of the current season. There is a universal beauty in their music that reaches across generations and places.

The Bellrins is a three-piece indie rock band based in Kitakyushu Kokura, Fukuoka Prefecture.
Influenced by black music and US indie, the
The light, rhythmic and uplifting pop melody will naturally shake your body and mind.
It features steady, gentle bass vocals, playful guitars, and drums that accentuate the pop-ness.
Look out for the three of them in the charted “Slow Night” for a heart-pounding ensemble.
It seems that the label name was applied for by mistake, and the vocal’s name is also a CRJA FUKUOKA point of recommendation.

Born in 1990 in Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan, singer-songwriter “KEI _HAYASHI”.
Originally, he worked behind the scenes supporting artists in their live performances. Through his many experiences, he realized that “the message I really want to convey cannot be conveyed unless I send it out myself,” and he decided to go out on the stage on his own. This time’s top pick is österreich.
österreich is the solo project by Kunimitsu Takahashi.
In 2015, their song was selected as the theme of the animation series, ”Tokyo Ghoul”.
And, they became more active after their first live as a guest act of the concert held by TK from Ling to site SIgure in Oct, last year.
This song, Eiga(means movie), has been published in the past, and it is arranged into band sound by new members in this release. As a result, it become more familiar than their previous songs.
In addition, this song is singed by Ai Kamano. Her crystal clear voice goes well with intricately intertwined sounds. Their decadent and prosaic lyrics is also one of their unique points.
