近年、日本に限らず世界中で音楽機器の原点とも言えるアナログレコードの魅力を感じることができるスペースが増えている。

福岡にもレコードを求めて⽼若男⼥問わず⾳楽好きが集う場所がある。天神の閑静な住宅街に佇む⼩さなレコードショップLIVING STEREOだ。福岡の⼈気ダイニングバー『STEREO』のオーナー渡邉裕介さんによって開業された。最近は若者や観光で福岡に訪れた外国⼈が徒歩5分圏内にある『STEREO COFFEE』のドリンクを⽚⼿に訪ねることも多いという。真っ⻘な扉を開き⾜を⼀歩踏み⼊れれば世界を探検しているかのような感覚に陥るだろう。 UKロックを中⼼にオーナーが⾃ら買い付けしたものなど世界中から集められたオススメのレコードが壁の⾄るところにディスプレイされ、気になったものはその場で試聴することが出来る。レコードには全てオーナーによるメッセージが添えられている。 「コメントを読むだけでも楽しい気持ちになってほしいし、⼀枚⼀枚お客さんのことを考えながらセレクトしたことが伝わるかなと」とオーナーは語る。

いつでもどこでも⾳楽に触れられるようになったこの時代にあえて聴きたい⾳がそこにはある。まるでひと昔前にタイムスリップしたかのようノスタルジー的感覚と新しいものを手にしたときの⾼揚感を同時に味わうことができるLIVING STEREOで、あなただけのとっておきの⼀枚を⾒つけよう。

In recent years, not only in Japan but also all over the world, there has been an increase in the space where one can feel the appeal of analog records, which can be said to be the origin of music devices.

In Fukuoka, there is a place where music lovers of all ages gather in search of records. It is a small record shop, Living Store, standing in the quiet residential area of Tenjin. It was opened by Watanabe Yusuke, the owner of the popular dining bar ‘STEREO’ in Fukuoka. Recently, many young people and foreigners visiting Fukuoka for sightseeing often visit with a ‘STEREO COFFEE’ drink within 5 minutes walking distance. Open the blue door and walk in and you’ll feel like you’re exploring the world. Recommended records from all over the world, such as those purchased by the owner, mainly from UK Rock, are displayed all over the wall, and you can listen to what you are interested in. Every record has a message from the owner. “I want customers to feel happy just by reading the comments, and I hope that you can understand that I selected them while thinking about each customer.” says the owner.

In this era of music being available anytime, anywhere, there are some sounds that you would like to listen to. Find one of your favorites at Living Stereo, where you can experience both the nostalgic sensation of a time slip a decade ago and the exhilaration of a new one.
