2017年最初の号となる「Wooly vol.27」
今号は「The Age of Wokeness」と題し、私たちの身の回りと世界各地で起こっていることへの「気付き」を提起する一冊となりました。
女の子たちの間で絶大な人気を集めるモデル・玖瑠実が主人公のカバーストーリーを撮り下ろしたのは、幅広いジャンルで活躍する期待の若手写真家Kyosuke Azuma。

音楽界からは、先日来日も果たした北京出身の注目バンドRADIO MARSや、次々にニューヒーローを生み出すコペンハーゲンのFIRST HATEにインタビュー。
台湾のキュレーショングループOFF TOPICが選ぶ、インターネット世代を代表する3人の女性フォトグラファーにも注目です。

The first issue in 2017 is finally released and for sale!
The theme of the latest issue is “The Age of Wokeness”, raising some matter of awareness about what’s happening in the world and around us.
A young and anticipated photographer Kyosuke Azuma, who works in various fields, took the photo of cover story featuring Kurumi, who is high in favor with girls.
A photographer Masayuki Shimizu collaborates with an aloha shirt label “ASKLAR” from Okinawa, and half Spanish NATANE elegantly adapts herself to its tropical clothes.
In music, Radio Mars, a duo from Beijing who visited Japan in May answers our questions on what the music scene in China is like, and First Hate,a duo from Copenhagen tells us the story of their latest album.
We can’t miss out three female artists representing the era of the Internet, curated by OFF TOPIC from Taipei.

From Bangkok, a fashion phtographer Sergio del Amo contributes with his exotic photos, and Daniel Segrove delivers his works incorporating mixed media all the way from San Francisco.
Among the artists who participate in the exhibiton now held in Brooklyn, Toshiaki Tashiro from WOOLY ARTS, Moe Nakase and Yushi Dangami show their ambitious works.
The latest work of Erika Kobayashi, who was nominated for Akutagawa awards, a serial artwork by Sayo Nagase and an introduction by Fukuryu are lined up as well.
