京王線仙川駅から徒歩7分、住宅街の中に佇む青い屋根の小さなお店。素敵な庭を通り抜けて大きな木の扉を開けると、日当りが良くて柔らかい雰囲気の空間が広がっている。
ギャラリーとして色々な作家さんを迎えて展覧会を行っており、様々な雑貨が展示もしくは販売されています。カフェを併設しているため、おいしいコーヒや、玄米のお膳や、焼きたてのお菓子も一緒に楽しめます。店の外では野菜を販売しており、海老沢農園の採れたて野菜も購入できるし、月に一度開かれるお料理教室と金繕い講座で自分を磨く事だってできちゃう。また、秋になるとニワコヤ映画祭という日本一小さな、日本一美味しい映画祭が行われます。更に、仙川を散策するための楽しい地図を作る仙川地図研究所でもあるんです。店長さんが人生で出会った人や、美しいと感じたもの、面白いと思ったこと、そして美しいと思うものを全力で紹介している場所。

7 minutes from Sengawa station on the Keio line is a small cafe with a blue roof. After walking through a beautiful garden is a big wooden door and inside is a cozy atmosphere of Cafe Niwa Coya.
In the cafe there is a gallery which holds exhibitions for many artists and many art goods are sold. As a cafe, delicious coffee and whole-rice dishes and freshly baked cakes are all provided. Outside the cafe, fresh vegetables from Ebisawa farm are sold and once a month cooking classes and kintsugi lessons are held. In Autumn, the cafe holds “Niwa Coya Film Festival”, the world’s smallest film festival. There is even a map laboratory to walk around the town of Sengawa. Cafe Niwa Coya is a place that where we can commune with the beautiful things, people and objects the owner wants everyone to know.
