Sayo Nagase’s Talk Session on “White Flowers”

August 11, photographer Sayo Nagase's talk show was held at a gallery "AL" in Tokyo, Ebisu, where her newest series titled “White Flowers” were on exhibition. Noted photographer MOTOKO was invited as a guest, and critic Kenji Takazawa presided. The audience felt the fragrance of white flower from the photos on the wall while Ms. Nagase was talking about the episodes with the white flower during working on photography for this series in Stockholm, Sweden. And She talked about her philosophy and what she stuck to as a photographer. And MOTOKO responded her and also told her idea and evaluation of her and her works from point of view as a more experienced photographer. The audience seemed to feel the moment when the image of this series' concept and her character, which the audience was noticed by her way of feeling expression and her sweet and strong atmosphere, matched completely. And also could imagined how was her while she was playing with the white flower and the gentle breeze on the sunny day. Sayo Nagase said that she has a desire to spend all her life as only a photographer. She would keep coming up to our expectation.
